Choo Chooo we're on the Blog Tour train for
PodCamp. So I totally made up that part about it being a train but things feel way cooler when you put the word train at the end of it. I'd give some examples but people thats not why you're here today, ok... just one. Candy Train. Ok. I'm better now.
So I'm not your typical PodCamp blogger. I realize that. I'm girly and I write about clothes and feelings, etc... And at first I was like "
What in the world am I going to write about? I'm super girly, this is weird.". I thought about doing an outfit post like
What to Wear to PodCamp. BUT I'm 98 percent certain that I'm the only person who set their outfits out the night before PodCamp like it was the first day of school, wanting to be the cool kid (unsuccessfully I might add - in school not at PodCamp we're all so nice at PodCamp). So I thought, what are some things we need to bring with us, and that's what I decided to talk about today.
You all know the basics, pen and notepad (yeah I'm old school), an iPad (yeah I finally upgraded and then the new one came out, don't you hate that), fancy schmancy computer, money for lunch (and from what I hear it is going to be
GOOOOOD this year), and MOST IMPORTANT business cards. Not only is the purpose of Podcamp to learn and have fun but its to meet cool people and network. Last year I forgot mine, and I swore up and down that this year I wouldn't forget. So I thought I'd share some neat Business Cards that I've found around the net. These are just to get your brain pumpin' to get creative with your business cards. That's the thing, you don't want a simple boring old same ol' same ol' business card. You want one that not only says "I'm Stephanie, I write a super girly blog about girly things and feelings" but you want it to show some character and maybe even the little quirks about who you are, why you do what you do, and do it creatively and cool. Yo! (I'm not sure why I added Yo! there, guess I'm just trying to be a cool kid again)
I'm a sucker for anything that looks like a Library card. Anyway.... I hope some of these help give you ideas. And if you have any other fun card ideas let me know! Share it in the comments. Have a super day! Hope to see you on April 14th, PodCamp day! Yay!
