Thankful Thursday

Happy Thanksgiving friends!! Just a quick post. I hope you are all having an awesome day. Here at the Drummond household we are spending it making Mini Pumpkin Pie bites. I'm making these RIGHT NOW.... RIGHT AT THIS EXACT MOMENT. :) Then we're going to head over to the In-Laws to hang out and watch some football. Then we will watch my super Awesome Cowboys beat Dave's stupid Dolphins. And then afterwards we'll be eating our tradional Thanksgiving at Jack in the Box. This is our 7th year doing this and I can't wait. Problem is... Do I cheat on my diet or do I being strict or do I do a little bit of both? Decisions... Decisions.

I wanted to share a few things that I am thankful for this past year, things that are very personal to me, ya know cause I'm human not just a rad chick who likes to take pictures of herself.  I am thankful for:
  • An amazing husband who accepts me for all my faults, crabbiness, dorkiness and goofiness. And who lets me dance and sing while in the grocery store and doesn't complain... much. ;)
  • My baby kitties. They are the cutest things ever. The teach me responsibility and allow me to think that maybe just maybe I might be able to be a real mom one day... if I can remember to feed them regularly.
  • My family for always being there to lend a hand, let me vent to, and question me when I might seem like I'm making a bad decision.
  • Best Friend getting married because I was able to see her, and we got to get all dressed up and pretty and have pictures taken.
  • My awesome job, working at a great company has really helped me be a better person.
  • My 45 pounds weight loss. I sleep better, I live better and I breathe better.
  • My depression is gone. Well not totally gone but I'm in a much better place that I've been at in years. My self confidence is better and I'm finally feeling pretty again. I'm feeling like me again. :)
  • I've accepted the things in my life that I can't change, and I'm working towards dealing with them.

So that's it. That's all. Hope you have an great Thanksgiving!

xo, Steph
