Also, I'm going to be in full 30th birthday party planning mode. I've already got a whole board on Pintrest dedicated to my 30th birthday party. Its titled I'm going to have the rad-est 30th birthday party ever, pretty subtle, huh? I thought so too, I'm always subtle just look the name of this blog. Well I wanted to share some of the random ideas I've had sitting in my head and my Pinterest board. Nothing is official but I'm getting the look and feel and colors and texture ideas in my head so I know where to start in June.
This whole idea came to be when my best friend Sabrina was getting married last year. I would come across ideas that were more my style than hers and create a board on Pinterest titled, If I ever did it again... This is how my wedding would be. Totally not unreasonable since for years I've said Dave and I needed to have another ceremony or something since our trip to Vegas for our wedding wasn't exactly pretty and now that I'm older I want pretty. So I was pinning things there that were super girlie, knowing Dave would hate it when I realized something. I wasn't wanting to have another wedding for us. I just wanted a party. So why not have a fun and totally girly party for my 30th birthday. So I am. And now Dave is off the hook in planning a surprise party that I probably would have hated because I hate surprises and it wouldn't be ultra feminine enough for me.
P.S. Is it weird to send out "Save the Date" birthday invites? I don't think so, I figure I have friends from California that need to plan on flying so its totally ok and fun. I'm just being considerate y'all.
So ya... here are some ideas. Next time I'll share some clothing ideas I've got.
